NATIONAL LEVEL WORKSHOP ON MARMA CHIKITSA ‘MARMA SAADHANA 2023’ ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT OF PG & PhD STUDIES IN SHALYA TANTRA ON 7th & 8th JULY 2023

National Level Workshop on Marma Chikitsa ‘Marma Saadhana 2023’ was conducted by the Department of PG & PhD Studies in Shalya Tantra on 7th and 8th July 2023 at Sri Shivashantveer Mangal Bhavan. Dr Anisha S Ashraf, Assistant Professor, Department of Shalya Tantra delivered the welcome speech followed by the Keynote address by the Oragnizing secretary, Dr Geetanjali Hiremath, Associate Professor, Department of Shalya Tantra, SJGAMC, Koppal. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest-Dr Anand S Kirishal, Senate member, RGUHS, Bangalore followed by delivering of Inaugural speech. The gathering were addressed by the Guest of honour, Dr Santosh Belawadi, Principal, DGM Ayurvedic Medical College, Gadag. Presidential address was given by Dr B S Savadi, Principal & HOD, Department of Shalya Tantra, SJGAMC, Koppal. The scientific sessions were dealt by Dr K T Vinod Krishnan, Dr Navin Chandra Joshi & Dr H Anasuya Chaitanya. Paper presentation & Poster presentation were conducted on the first day of workshop. Panel discussion was conducted. At the Valedictory function on 08.07.23, the gathering were addressed by Dr Praveen Kumar, Director & Professor, Department of Roga Nidana, SJGAMC; Dr Suresh Hakkandi, Vice principal & Professor, Department of PK, SJGAMC; Dr Veerayya R Hiremath, Dean R&D & Professor, Department of Shalakya Tantra, SJGAMC; Dr K B Hiremath, Professor, Department of Rachana Shareera, SJGAMC; Dr Manjunath Akki, Professor, Department of PK, SJGAMC. Finally, Valedictory session concluded with Vote of thanks by Dr Lohit Kalal, Assistant Professor, Department of Shalya Tantra, SJGAMC.
